Well, I'm going to have to pin a silly button on me!! I think of myself, generally speaking, as intellegent, fun, nerdy...Oh, and silly when I don't pay attention to details...
So while Jared and his parents were putting the sprinkler system together I got to be the runtothehardwarestore girl. So I make one trip to True Value, pick up the right sprinkler part, pat myself on the back. Job well done!! Then David sends me off to get 13 threated elbows and 3 threaded T's. First of all, round trip to True is like at least 30 minutes, this includes in-store time, but still, it's not just around the corner, people. So I get back and again am proud of my service that I have provided. Then, David looks in the bag. Gets a big grin on his face and says, "Jessica, I love you, but I needed 13 T's and 3 elbows." Back to True I go. I spent a fair amount of time in the car, not so fun. The checker lady at True told me she thought I should send my husband down himself to get the right parts. I was a little offended. Silly me.

Glad you can be runner girl, everyone takes a turn doing so. I have to admit that I am surprised, you seem to know your way around the hardware store better than most men!
good job. i know nothing about sprinklers. i would have taken a piece of paper with the what was needed and asked someone to get it for me. ha. :)
