I have to blog about these, or I'll foget them. Kids are always saying and doing such cute, embarrassing, enlightening things. I want to hear what your kids have said or done lately, so leave a comment!! Here's a few of ours:

Ellie is saying a few more words: Jared has taught her to say squeeze for a hug and tonight before she went to bed she wanted a "tweeze" from me!! Precious.



A few months ago Jared decided he was going to teach the kids the names of the First Presidency. They really did a good job learning them. Today we were in the car with Carter and Ellie. Here's the conversation:

Jared: Carter, who the President of the Church?

Carter: President Hinckley

J: No, remember he died? Where did he go?

C: He's in Heaven

J: That's right, and who's the new Prophet, who was the First Counselor?

C: Thomas S. Monson

J: and who was the 2nd counselor?

C: Henry dot com Eyrin

This made us laugh!! Where do kids come up with this stuff? Then we picked Hailey and Court up from school and Jared asked Hailey and Court these same questions.

Jared: Who is the President of the church?

H&C (silence)

Jared: Thomas....(waiting for them to remember)

H: Thomas Jefferson!!!

Jared: Thomas S. .......

Court: MONSON!!

Jared: Who is his first counselor?

H&C: (silence)

Jared: President......(waiting for an answer)

H: BUSH!!!

Too bad Hailey wasn't right, our country could use the First Counselor of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as its President!!!

Then they remembered Henry B. Eyring!!

Then Jared told them that Elder Uchdorf was the new Second Counselor and they had fun trying to pronoun it!!

Can you tell what Hailey has been studying in 2nd Grade?? That's right, the Presidents of the United States of America.

On another note, here's what Court's been learning in KINDERGARTEN!! wOw and OOOPS!!
He really has learned so much this year. Even if he does mix up a few sounds here and there, or put an "e" where an "i" belongs. Six, Sex, what's the difference???
