Arthur's Chicken Pox

Seriously, have you ever seen a cuter Arthur? Last year the kids school started a book parade and you get to pick a charactor from a book and dress up like them and then they parade around the school to all the classes. They do this on Halloween, so they get to dress up. Earlier this year Court's class was having a party on a Friday and he thought he was supposed to wear his jammies to school...but he wasn't supposed to. Everyone made fun of him and kept telling him, "YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE WEARING JAMMIES" So this morning I got him all dressed up and put spots all over him and then he got real sad and didn't want to be made fun of again. So we took off the jammies and spots and sent him on his way with normal clothes. I was SOOOO sad. Maybe next year. Kids are so mean.

I love the idea of dressing up with literature! The costume competition gets old! :)

He looks GREAT with spots. I wish kids knew at a young age what HUGE implications their little words have.
